Coach
A few years ago, I was severely overweight and had type 2 diabetes that was out of
control. I reigned in my diet and started CrossFit. Along with a close eye on nutrition, CrossFit has allowed me to keep control of my health. I became a coach so I could help others realize what they are capable of both
physically and mentally. I love the application and carryover to everyday life that the functional movements we practice at CrossFit provide.

Growing up I was active but always wanted more. I wanted to be a strong woman and do what most others could not. CrossFit has given me the
opportunity to achieve a level of fitness that I never could in a traditional gym setting. I still have a lot to learn and am working to reach my fitness goals, but feel more confident to achieve those goals. I became a coach to help others like me to achieve their goals. I enjoy being part of such a strong community of like-minded people, all working towards reaching their individual goals and supporting each other.

I have been in the fitness industry for over 12 years. Most of those years were spent Personal Training and teaching
Group Fitness Classes like Boot Camp and Kickboxing.
During the Summer of 2020, I finally joined a CrossFit gym and I have never looked back. CrossFit has changed me mentally, physically and emotionally. Now, as a coach, I get to help others with this passion. Coaching has been so rewarding and I can’t wait to continue to grow.

When I first started my Crossfit journey, I was only looking for something to keep my interest, weight loss and getting back into shape. Little did I know it would be life changing, sending me down a path of healthy living.
I started crossfit at the age of 37. My goals and wants have changed throughout the years, however, the foundation of Crossfit's functional movements have been consistent. My goals have changed from wanting to lose weight and get back into shape to getting strong, competing and learning from the healthy people I was surrounded by. As life changed, I learned to do Crossfit workouts out of the back of my jeep or hotels due to traveling and keeping up with my kids. As I have aged, my goal is to stay healthy and injury free while still using my Crossfit foundation.
At the age of 50, I am now a Certified Personal trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine, have returned to Crossfit as a level 1 Crossfit Coach and am currently getting certified as a Wellness Coach and a Nutrition Coach.
I also have my Bachelor's degree in Equestrian Science and work with people who seek horses in a therapeutic way. I am very passionate about helping people grow, learn and become healthy.
I truly believe the day I decided to do crossfit was the day my life changed. It has only been forward movement and positive change since.

I was introduced to CrossFit in 2019 after losing my love for running and realizing my gym routine just wasn’t cutting it.
CrossFit gave me the guidance, accountability and a community that I was lacking.
As a firefighter and paramedic, I realized that functional fitness workouts are extremely beneficial and I wanted to learn more. I also wanted share this passion with others.
I obtained my CrossFit Level 1 in 2022.
I have gained a lot of valuable knowledge to not only improve my own health and performance, but to help others achieve their fitness goals as well.

My journey into fitness and weight loss started in 2020, but it wasn't until 2022 that I found myself in a formal CrossFit gym.
I love the challenge it brings, pushing me to be better every day. What keeps me hooked isn't just the workouts but the incredible sense of community and camaraderie.
CrossFit has helped transform me, both physically and mentally, and now as a coach, I'm passionate about sharing that journey with others, helping them achieve their goals and experience the life-changing power of CrossFit.
